Corning Incorporated, tramite un comunicato stampa, ha fatto sapere che il suo ´vetro gorilla´ già adottato da oltre 20 tra i più famosi produttori di PC e dispositivi cellulari, è presente anche nel Samsung Galaxy S.
 Come sempre i comunicati stampa sono un pochino autocelebrativi, e la compagnia arriva a dire che il suo prodotto migliora le performance del già brillante schermo SUPER AMOLED. Ovvio che il Vetro Gorilla non interviene sulle prestazioni dello schermo, ma sicuramente aggiunge un´altra caratteristica degna di rilievo a questo smartphone oltre ad offrire una adeguata protezione al suo schermo da 4 pollici.
