Allied Waste Recycles Glass At New Huntsville Recyclery Green Mountain Glass |

Allied Waste was under fire for throwing away glass residents had recycled, but a new general manager helped clean up their act.
They started trucking the glass to Atlanta instead. That was costing the company around $1,000 dollars a trip, but a partnership with Green Mountain Glass, a new recyclery in Huntsville, has taken away that burden. |

Forscher haben ein Verfahren entwickelt, mit dem sie nicht nur transparente und heizbare Schichten herstellen können. Obendrein verhindern diese das Kondensieren von Feuchtigkeit. So bleibt die Scheibe morgens eisfrei – und der Eiskratzer hat ausgedient. Der Prototyp einer solchen Schicht ist auf der Messe Glasstec vom 28. September bis 1. Oktober in Düsseldorf zu sehen. |
